The modern pentathlon, which was championed by Baron Pierre de Coubertin, celebrates 100 years during the London 2012 Olympic Games, but one of the premier UK bingo sites, City Bingo, is catching all the attention of fervent bingo players with their own interpretation of this event. City’s Cat Olympic Pentathlon promotion will run from July 27th until August 12th and will give away a total of £300 in prize money as players compete in five disciplines to collect trophies.

The first discipline is to bet £5 on the instant game of Snakes and Ladders, the second one is to call bingo on the Gymnastics Bar pattern, the third one is to bet £5 on any instant tournament, the fourth discipline requires players to deposit £10 and the last one must see players purchase 96 bingo cards to a single game. Once the promotional period is over, depending on the number of trophies earned, players will be entered into one of the three prize draws to win the following real cash prizes; players with 5 trophies will have the chance to win £150, players with 4 trophies will vie for a £100 prize and players that have accumulated 3 trophies will have the chance to win a £50 cash prize. Players can monitor their progress on how many trophies they have earned by entering the game lobby and clicking on the Trophy Cabinet link.

Furthermore, City Bingo is giving all the players that have earned at least one trophy, the chance to win some Olympic Goodies in their special Olympic prize draw. The three prizes include the London 2012 Olympic Mascots, the London 2012 Union Jack Teapot and a London 2012 Olympic £5 coin. The draw will take place on Monday August 13th and the winners will be notified via email.
