A little bit of a history lesson here. On the second Monday in March every year we celebrate Commonwealth Day (10 March 2014). The aim this year is to promote friendship and motivation towards the shared goals that exist between all 53 Commonwealth members. With that in mind, and in order to show their allegiance towards the British Empire, Sing Bingo has come up with a special Commonwealth-themed chat tournament that will play every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Sunday until 26 March.

It couldn’t be more simple to participate in these chat tourneys. Players who enter one of the qualifying bingo rooms, namely Karaoke Nights and The Winner Takes it All, will be placed into one of the following teams; UK, Australia, India, Canada and South Africa. With every bingo win the player will receive 1,000 Sing Points and 1 tourney point for their team. At the end of the two hour session, the members of the winning team will receive 5,000 Diamonds each for their efforts. The tourneys are open only to players that have funded their accounts, so no freebies are allowed here.

But that’s not all! Sing Bingo will be hosting a special prize draw on Thursday 27 March. Every single player that has participated in these tournaments will have the chance to walk away with a Commonwealth Games prize worth £50. It includes some cool goodies such as a branded rucksack, a t-shirt, a hat and coffee mugs. Sing Bingo is still in a very charitable mood, giving all new mobile users the chance to claim a free tenner when they download their app on a mobile device, including phones and tablets. Both iPhone and Android applications are supported. And don’t forget to look out for the specially designed mobile promos.
